"My father never, ever said anything to me about his theories. I was in the same house with him for at least 18 years but he was a total stranger to me. He was in his own parallel universe. He was a physical presence, like the furniture, sitting there jotting down crazy notations at the dining room table night after night. I think he was deeply disappointed that he knew he was a genius but the rest of the world didn't know it." - Mark Everett.

It's obviously not about the physics, but the 'parallel worlds' relates to the life of Hugh and the life of Mark... so it's a personal story, not an explanation of the theory. A double biography, if you'd like.

distracted genius or detracted thing. genius without wisdom is a waste of elements. no wonder he wanted to end up in the trash since thats all he could make of what he will be. so much for worthless aethism. parallel yet neither offer redemption. very worthless yet insightful considering where we are in time.

    love; whats that?

so true at times ,we need to treat everyone good .To many laws cause division among us whitch we make labels for ppl. who have done stuff when instead we should ask why and show compassion and let them redeam themselves through their actions.Ppl. change and grow .
